With the addition of our new associate veterinarians, we are fortunate to have two doctors who are skilled and experienced in the field of exotic pet medicine. Exotic pets include any patients that are not canine or feline, including birds, small mammals, and reptiles. Both Dr. Flacke and Dr. Deb Miller, our newest associates at Murrayhill, have extensive experience with ferrets, reptiles, and pocket pets including species such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils.

At Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital we are able to provide routine wellness care along with urgent or emergency medical services for exotic pets. Typical services include routine treatments such as spay or neuter surgeries, nail trims, wing trims, and husbandry advice in association with wellness exams. Should your exotic pet become ill, Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital can also provide the necessary medical and diagnostic care needed including hospitalization, radiographs, blood work, and supportive therapy to get your pet back to good health!
